Storm Coming Again, How Safe is Your Data?

If you live in the North East you know what it’s been like the last few days. Downed power lines leading to power outages and power surges. And of those that have power, many do not have internet back yet. I am getting a lot of questions about computers that are not booting up, Hard drives that randomly lost files, or modems/routers that do not power up. Is your backup onsite and is easily a grab and go? Or Have you moved to an online backup? Have you put UPS (battery backup) units into place give you time to properly shutdown, or just get through the brown outs?
